As a designer at Root House Studio, I worked with Day’s Edge Productions to produce a video for REI following a pair of scientist athletes who are studying differences in deer mice at low and high altitudes. Because these mice have some of the highest levels of endurance seen in the animal kingdom, these researchers are hoping to unlock the key to their fortitude, and perhaps find a way to replicate it in human athletes.
